The test is taken on a computer at an approved test centre. Every question is based on the official handbook, Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents.

24 questions in 45 minutes.
What is the pass mark for the Life in the UK test?
75% — at least 18 correct answers out of 24.
How do you book the Life in the UK test?
Online through the official booking service, at least 3 days in advance. It costs £50 and can only be taken at an approved test centre.
